Tru By Hilton Merrillville

I gladly share my review about this hotel. First, I must say that Annette at this hotel is the kindest, most outgoing, warm hotel server I have ever experienced. Each day she greeted me with a warm smile and asked how everything was going. Tru Hilton should give Annette a promotion to Hospitality Manager! The hotel was very clean and there were always people cleaning it - in the food area, hallways, and rooms. The food assortment at the front desk was great - healthy and lots of protein, which I like. There were also yummy snacks like candy and chips, which I also like :) The front desk person was very kind. I never felt like I was putting anyone out or a burden. All the people, from the service man (who helped fix my remote) to Annette who always had a warm, welcoming smile, were absolutely the best. 10, 10, 10 on this great hotel! Thank you, everyone!

Wow!!! This place is very clean and the staff is very friendly when I read the reviews I was skeptical that this place was in 9.5 range after staying I now know why.. they actually do care and go out of their way to to make you feel secure and happy.

Very friendly and helpful staff with a brand new building. Having an extra staff on overnights to clean the elevators, bissell the carpets, and wipe glass windows/doors might help with now and in the long run. Otherwise, everything was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable with nice pillows.

My wife and I loved the area and the decor of the hotel,the staff was very very very very nice ,our room.very comfortable and the upkeep of the hotel was superb!!!! The breakfast did not disappoint.We would definitely choose the Tru when we step back in town again.

Clean, everything new in facility. Staff were nice, breakfast was fire! The cook was so sweet, seemed like she really enjoyed her job.
